Leechburg, Pennsylvania is a borough located in Armstrong County, in the western part of the state. It is situated along the Kiskiminetas River and has a population of approximately 2,000 people. Leechburg was founded in the mid-1800s and is known for its historic district, which includes buildings from the 1800s and early 1900s. The borough is also home to the Leechburg Area School District and is located about 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
